Working with the 5th graders at Barton Pond was so much fun! Since their school is named after a pond- we decided to study pond habitats for ideas for the mural. Each student painted a duck, dragonfly, fish, frog, snail or other native pond creature. They also worked together to paint the background. This mural was so much fun to make.
